CrowRiver Arts (CRA) has a vision to provide education, entertainment and opportunities for community participation across a vast canvas of art related events. CRA is the only multi-disciplinary arts organization in the HutchinsonCrowRiver area which was formed in 1985. As a non-profit, 501(c3) organization CRA is volunteer driven and member supported.
CRA is a local forum for regional artists to network and grow. It is a venue for various art forms including fine art, fiber, photography, music, theatrics, dance and much more. The area cultural experiences continue to grow through art education, visual art exhibits, musical and theatre performances.
A core set of values help keep a focus for CRA:
Collaboration: Collaborate to build trusting relationships Advocacy: Advocate the Arts Response: Respond to the art interests of people Empowerment: Empower people to use their talent and broaden their art appreciation
In order to keep these values upheld a strong network of volunteers and members are essential. CRA is operated by a volunteer board of directors. All events are run by volunteer project leaders and committees. CRA is constantly growing and changes and is always looking for new ideas, members and resources!
